Personal Projects

I have been making art all my life. I started selling jewelry in late elementary school at the Bellingham Farmers Market on Kids’ day (The last Saturday of the month, where they let kids sell their wares). Through that experience, I developed my art, branching into wire work and origami.

Operation Butterfly

What started out as a way to keep my hands busy during meetings expanded into an open-source community art project. Operation Butterfly is an art mural that encourages whimsy and delight in the workspace. Anyone can make an origami butterfly and contribute to the work.

In April 2025 Operation Butterfly had an official display as part of Neurodiversity Celebration week. Made by me and others in the neurodiverse community, the butterfly display symbolized the beauty and importance of diversity within a community.

Material: Secondhand paper (receipts, tea bag packaging, old posters, donated crafting paper), poster putty.

Every Day People

In summer of 2019, I went fishing in Alaska. While there, I had a great time making wire people doing everyday things.

Materials: Copper wire, pebbles, beer bottle cap
